F-CLEAN contains an ETFE film, which is a lightweight and highly preferred covering material in the greenhouse industry, as it is lighter than glass, PE film, polycarbonate, and PMMA layers. By maximizing UV light transmission (up to 94%), F-CLEAN allows for the formation of higher quality fruits and vegetables, as well as more colorful flowers, giving producers the chance for an early harvest. The low surface energy of the F-CLEAN film gives it a self-cleaning property, so the greenhouses can stay clean in rain or snow, adapting to natural conditions, and snow automatically slides off.

The use of F-CLEAN as a greenhouse covering material provides 4-5% higher light transmittance compared to P.E and regular glass. Therefore, 1% more light means 1% more "gain" in terms of yield.
